Terms of Service

Reading Back Porch Sheen Field Guide is subject to the terms set out below. They are short, and they mostly say that this is written information rather than professional advice.

Copyright

Copyright in the material here is retained. Quoting a short passage with a link back is welcome; republishing a page in full is not.

General Information Only

These guides address the typical case, never a particular property. Guides describe how exterior painters work is generally approached, which is not the same as advice about a particular property, and they should not be relied on as though it were.

Limitation of Liability

The reader decides what to do with what they read here. No responsibility is accepted for any resulting expense or loss, so far as the law allows.

External Links

Where an outside site is linked, it is because it is relevant. It is not because it is vouched for: its content and conduct are its own responsibility.

No Warranty of Accuracy

Accuracy is the aim and not a promise. Standards and costs shift over time, and a reader should confirm anything that materially affects a decision.

Amendments

Terms can change over time. No separate notice is given, so the page itself is the reference.
